Hi there!

I am a teacher-librarian, and the face behind Books & Bytes.
I LOVE my role because I get to connect with students of all ages, and collaborate with teachers in so many different ways! I have worked as a TL for 11 years in 3 different schools, and prior to that I taught Kindergarten through Grade 4.

I JUST CAN’t GET ENOUGH OF THOse LITTLe LEARNERS!

I live with my husband Shaun and our three chihuahuas Luna, Cleo, and Alanna not too far from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We all love eating, and are always excited to try something new! (Seriously - these spoiled dogs have tried way too many fine cheeses!)

I gave my husband the travel bug after he saw me complete two study abroad years in England and Australia. Since then we have visited some amazing places, and our “to go” list keeps growing! I love how travelling widens your perspective, both socially and professionally.
